| Last weekend we tried a new fishing venue, a lake for Carp and Barbel. Unfortunately, we did not know there was a local fishing club hosting a competition. Their areas were well baited, and some large carp were netted, 5kg to 8kg. We, however, were reneged to the off-side where we were fishing at 6m, we really needed to be amongst the contestants at 9m. But we managed to net a couple of 2.5kg carp and a number of average barbel. Worth another visit. |
