The one that didn´t get away....
While showing a couple of young English people on holiday the basics of Carp
Fishing, João got the first bite of the day.
Turning to help one of the younger men, a bite took his hook, line and rod down
river.
Diving in, Joâo managed to retrieve the rod, intact, with a 2kg carp on the end.
A good lesson was learnt by all - and everyone managed to add a few choice
words to their Portuguese vocabulary !
