Explore the unknown Portugal
The numerous monasteries, convents, castles and churches

The landscape is dominated by mountains and plateaus, natural pine forests
and crystal clear mountain rivers.

A town with over 800 years of History, which today hosts one of Portugal`s biggest Motorbike Festas,
attracting bikers from all over Europe.

The Serra da Estrela is the highest mountain range in Portugal, here there is winter skiing,
Figueira da Foz, renowned for surfing and its long stretches of golden sandy beaches.
Both under two hour drive away.

In the local rivers and baragems there is good fishing mainly for Trout, Barbel, Black Bass and Carp.

The University City of Coimbra with its Roman, Medieval, Renaissance; Arab, Jewish
and Christian architecture, is a 45 minute drive away.  
Close to Coimbra, the Spa Towns of Luso and Curia are renowned for the healing qualities
of their natural spring and fountain waters.
